Johnny Depp’s next, The Lone Ranger, that releases this Friday, July 5, will see the revered team behind the blockbuster franchise Pirates of the Caribbean — producers Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer and Academy Award-winning director Gore Verbinski — back with this thrilling action-adventure that has dollops of humour.
Touted as this year’s biggest visual extravaganza, the film revolves around a Native American warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) who recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice — taking the audience on a journey of epic surprises and humorous friction, as the two unlikely heroes learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
The film will be distributed by UTV Motion Pictures in India and will also be released in three other languages — Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
