Kuch toh hai UP ki bhasha mein

There is something undoubtedly special about the language of the people of Uttar Pradesh which has given Bollywood its maximum lyricists. A not so close second would only be Punjab. Be it UP’s street goonda language, the Hindi dialect, the tehzeeb in the Urdu or just the mithai, paan or the dirty Holi played there, everything finds its way into our Bollywood songs. We bring you some of our legendary lyricists from there as well as young ones who are continuing the tradition.
